Toronto Blue Jays vs. New York Yankees • Oct 8, 2025

In a decisive Game 4 of the ALDS, the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the New York Yankees 5-2, clinching the series 3-1 and advancing to the ALCS against the Mariners. Starting pitcher Louis Varland threw a gem, allowing just one hit in 1.1 innings, while reliever Seranthony Domínguez followed with 1.2 perfect innings to secure the win. Notable offensive contributions came from George Springer, who drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, and Ryan McMahon, who homered for the Yankees, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Blue Jays' strong performance.
