Seattle Mariners vs. Miami Marlins • Jul 8, 2026

In a solid pitching duel, Tyler Phillips threw a quality start for the Miami Marlins, allowing just 4 hits over 5 innings while striking out 3, and with Kyle Stowers' second-inning homer and Xavier Edwards' third-inning triple, the Marlins secured a 2-0 victory over the Seattle Mariners, who saw George Kirby go deep with 6 innings of 2-run ball and 7 strikeouts but ultimately could not capitalize offensively.
